MUCCI GIOVANNI
1894... As a young man, Mr. Nicola Mucci decides to set up the first confectioner's laboratory in Andria, after a long apprenticeship carried out at the school of the famous teacher Caflish in Naples.
From that moment on, the work has no stop and the sweetmeats are in time followed by chocolates, Easter eggs, sweets and other confectionery products which are sold in four cafes that the enterprising Nicola, in the meantime, has opened in Andria.
In 1926 the increasing activity persuaded Mr. Mucci to build a big factory where equipments for the production of chocolates and sweetmeats of wvery shape and taste are installed.
The fame of Mucci's products crosses the regional and national borders and the company starts to export its products abroad obtaining many recognitions for the excellence of its production.
In 1946 Giovanni takes the place of his father Nicola, and he goes on, on his own, defending the quality of his father's company and besides jealously preserving the secrets of the confectioner's art, he improves the techniques of production.
In 1975 the company passes in the hands of the sons that till today, keeps the style of thir father's firm, that has become a trade-mark.
