The De Carlo tradition has very ancient roots dating back as far as 1600 when the De Carlo family produced extra-virgin olive oil in their property olive-mill, nowaday overseen by the “Sovrintendenza dei Beni Culturali e delle Belle Arti” (Superintendent for Culture and Art).
Today the De Carlo oil- mill, with the ancient experience of Mr. Saverio De Carlo and his wife, is one of the top oil- mill in Italy.
The production of the oil is conceived and lived as an art, to which one dedicates patience, experience and love that begins with taking care of the olive trees and their fruit. Yhe olives used comes form the ancient estates “Torre di Mossa” and “Arcamone” and from some “Contrade”.
Always attentive to the demands of the market, the De Carlo Family, have expanded their product range, with brine table olives, vegetable in extra virgin oil, and tasty cream, such us olives cream, tomato cream, artchokes cream. The constant work permit to the Family during the years, since 1900, to receive different national and international awards, seein on the web page of the company.
All De Carlo products are selling in the best world stores, such us: New York, San Francisco, London, Zurig, Tokyo, Stockolm, Paris, Honk Hong.
In order for the visitors to know the quality of the De Carlo Extra Virgin Olive Oil and to discover each and every passage of the delicate process of production, the Oil Mill is open to the public every day of the week. The De Carlo home offers its guests to taste their typical specialities. We advise you to book your visit.
